DOCUHOME COMPANY FILES PATENT APPLICATION FOR INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
SANTA MONICA, CA- July 13, 2011-
Asset Inventory Solutions "Inventory Management System and Method" invention was filed today and received a filing date of May 2, 2011 and Application Serial No.13/098,835. The company's DocuHome Inventory application is striving to be recognized as the premier tool for homeowners to easily keep a digital portfolio of their belongings.
"Marking a milestone in DocuHome's growth and development, this patent will speak to the growing importance of personal asset protection. While many homeowners begin the process of creating a home inventory, often times they don't complete it due to organizational difficulty and time restrictions. With DocuHome however, homeowners can create a home inventory with relative ease in a small amount of time" said DocuHome founder and CEO Bradford Stanley.
Creating inventories of items or belongings is frequently useful for keeping track of such items or belongings. Such inventories are particularly useful for insurance purposes whereby one may be able to prove ownership of certain items or belongings in the event certain items or belongings are stolen, lost, destroyed, damaged, etc. such that the insurance provider may assist in replacing or compensating one for such loss. However, creating useful inventories no longer takes considerable amounts of time. Homeowners can now benefit from the employment of modern technologies. Therefore, it would be advantageous to have a system or method that provides a way for easily creating inventories.
Stanley's mission to keep homeowners prepared in the event of disaster traces back to his terrifying encounter with Malibu wildfires in 2007 that ended up destroying his home. Since that day, he vowed to help fellow homeowners be prepared for such events, and the founding of DocuHome in 2010 has vastly succeeded in that mission.
"We are proud of the work we have done to help countless homeowners and professionals be prepared for any unfortunate event that may strike their homes. Only until after I lost my home did I realize the importance of keeping a digital inventory of my family's belongings. However it is my goal to make sure that no other homeowner is unprepared for the unseen events that lay on the horizon."
DocuHome is the most comprehensive, easy to use home inventory product on the market today. Our patent-pending photo and tagging system is so easy to use, homeowners can photograph, assign a value, and safely store all of their possessions on-line in hours, not days. DocuHome is a great tool that our partners can use to help make sure their clients have peace of mind knowing that their possessions will be accounted for in case of any natural disaster or event."
